Hostel Rules

General Rules

• Every boarder must observe the following rules & regulations
   

• The Warden will issue a written permission to leave the hostel and/or campus under intimation to the Director.
   

• The time span and purpose of the visit and the names of companions will also be mentioned. Leaving hostel without such permission will be severely punished and may cause expulsion from hostel and/or WISH.
   

• The boarder must return to the hostel before 9pm and report her arrival to the warden who will make an entry in the register.
   

• Observe order, quiet, discipline and harmony with her colleagues.
   

• Use and handle with care the hostel property.
   

• Keep herself clean as well as her belongings, and surroundings.
   

• Replace all furniture as it was found & clean the room before leaving.
   

• Turn off lights before going to bed and switch off also fans, irons, heaters, etc., and lock the door before leaving the room.
   

• Accept the decisions of the Warden as final and pay the fine levied on her for indiscipline and/or lapses of any kind.
   

• Join others willingly in prayers, sermons and recitations of the Qur’an and such other books.
   

• All things causing noise or unpleasant smells including meals, music, radios, tape recorders and sharp perfumes are not permitted.
   

• Leaving around dirty laundry etc is considered indiscipline.
   

• Immoral things like obscene literature, videos, etc are strictly for bidden.

Visitors

• Only those persons whose names appear in the list provided by the parents are allowed to visit.
   

• They will report at the front office; the warden will see their ID’s and allow the boarder to meet the student in the lobby of the first and second floors.

• Visitors are allowed only between ‘Asr’ and ‘Maghrib’ prayers.
   

• Day scholars, friends and/or relatives are not allowed to visit boarders in their dorms.
   

• The Warden can allow women guests of a boarder to stay over night if it is not inconvenient for other inmates.
