Discipline
General Rules
-
This institute expects simplicity and modesty in dress
as well as in the behaviour and conduct of its
students. The following rules must be observed.
-
Dress Code:
There is a dress code that requires the students to wear
a white, full sleeve, loose-fit and long tunic (kamees)
with a white shalwar and shawl (chadar or dopatta). The
shawl should be large enough to cover the head, hair,
shoulders and back properly. However, those who wear
gowns and scarves are allowed to dispense with the white
uniform.

Sample of these gowns will be available at the institute
for inspection.

Wearing of gold or artificial jewelry, expensive wrist
watches and make up on campus is not allowed.

Any willful damage to WISH property constitutes an act
of indiscipline.

Political activities on campus are not permitted.
-
Use of mobile phones in the class rooms is not
permitted.

Any student found guilty of breach of discipline will be
presented before Discipline Committee for appropriate
action.
Undertaking at the Time of Admission
Punishment for the violation of Discipline

A fine of rupees 100/- to Rs. 500/- may be imposed on
the students by the Discipline Committee with a warning
letter under intimation to their parents depending on
the gravity of the offence.

The following offences may result in the outright
cancellation of admission:

Cheating in the examination or helping other students
during the exam.

Insolent behavior towards any member of the staff or
obnoxious remarks about any teacher or student.

Involvement in anti-social or anti-state activities.
-
Dissemination of sectarian or parochial material and
spreading of feelings of hatred.
-
Affiliation with any extremist group or terrorist
organization.

Stealing money, Jewellery or valuable items from The
Computer Lab, Language Lab, Hostel or any other place
from within the campus.
However in every exceptional case, the Chief Executive
or Director WISH may allow the student to continue in
the university after getting an undertaking signed by
the father/guardian of the student ensuring that she
will not be involved in any such activities in future.
